Oh, writers block. It has hit me hard this past month. I have not had much motivation or inspiration. I still don't, but I figured I could give some sort of update on our lives, for those of you who read this thing. Anniversary Tom and I celebrated nine years together on May 28. Nine years! We found ourselves very broke by the end of the month (back-to-back IUIs plus loads of unexpected expenses will do that to you), but Tom managed to throw together a Friday night getaway for us. Many thanks to my brother for using his points to get us a hotel room at the Conrad (they were awesome and upgraded us to a suite!) and my dad for paying for our amazing dinner at St. Elmos! It was such a fun evening. The hotel was beautiful and the food was delicious. And I got off work a little early so we could relax in the hotel beforehand and get dressed up for dinner!
